A Floor Mat is a way to reduce mess on Indoor floors.
Usage[]
When placed outside a Room, any Clanfolk moving over the Floor Mat will wipe their feet, reducing the amount of dirt they track onto the indoor floor. Animals will not use a Floor Mat so there is no benefit to such in areas frequented by animals.
As long as all entrances to a room have a Floor Mat (or pathing that passes over at least one Floor Mat) the dirt accumulating on the floor will be reduced from what it would be, leading to a slower degradation of Environment rating.
The more often Clanfolk pass over the Mat the sooner it will require upkeep due to wearing out.
Acquisition[]
After Clanfolk make their first Sleep Mat the player can direct them to place Floor Mats. On tiles adjacent to doors the Floor Mat will rotate to be on the tile edge.
A Clanfolk member with sufficient Building Skills Priority will collect Straw and craft the mat.
